Getting Married?
Many couples cannot afford a honeymoon and as the years progress they regret it. The pots and pans, appliances etc soon wear out unlike a honeymoon that lives in your memory for life. As you get older it's these memories that make it all worthwhile. No one I have met has retained fond and loving memories about the toaster they received from their Aunty Jane or the silver tea pot service that has gone black with age and now lives in a box somewhere in the garage.

Been Married?
If you have been married before you probably have all the appliances and home ware items you need and you may be very particular about the kind of home ware items you have in your house. If you are in that category then you would probably just like to get away to a nice cosy little resort with your new partner but even that can be expensive, particularly if your budget is tight and you’re still paying for the last little holiday resort.

How the Honeymoon Register can Help You
If you are having a wedding reception then it's very simple. When you send out your invitations you let it be known that you have registered with Harvey World Travel Greenhills and that the gift you prefer would be a Honeymoon Certificate.

When your guests call we will give them details according to your instructions which may be as follows:

  • Guests can purchase a Honeymoon Certificate for any value.
  • The Certificate is sent direct to you
  • A receipt and thank you letter is sent on your behalf to the guest
  • When you book your honeymoon the total amount received is taken out of the trust fund to pay for your honeymoon. eg. 80 certificates x $50.00 each = $4,000.00. If there is any balance we pay that out to you in travellers cheques or foreign currency.
  • Minimum Booking Requirement
    There is minimum booking requirement of $1,500.00 for any overseas trip that is a package holiday including air fares and accommodation. The minimum for air fares alone is $2,500.00. Domestic travel is based on a minimum $1200.00 air fares and accommodation package. Air fares alone would incur the retention of a $110.00 fee.

No Final Cost
There is no final cost to this service if the money collected goes toward your honeymoon that you book with Harvey World Travel Greenhills in accordance with the minimum requirements stated above. A $110.00 deposit is required to set up the register.  Harvey World Travel Greenhills provides the certificates and maintains an account balance that should tally with the certificates that have been purchased and sent to you.

A Major Anniversary Coming Up?
There are many milestones in our lives and anniversaries are certainly at the top end of the list. But as we get older celebrating our anniversary with a trip usually becomes less affordable. This could be the case of you mum and dad on their anniversary. If so, why not get all the family to chip in and purchase an Anniversary Holiday Certificate? This could be of any value that you all decide upon as an open cash amount or even a specific holiday package you know they would enjoy.

The Anniversary Certificate is supplied at no charge to you. Each person contributing is sent a receipt and is listed on the Anniversary Certificate. A Milestone Birthday Coming Up?
We celebrate certain birthdays as milestones in our life and they include: 18th, 21st, 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th etc. The problem can be what to give. As we do for Anniversaries we also have Birthday Certificates. The family can contribute and The Anniversary Certificate is supplied at no charge to you. Dreaming of an overseas or interstate holiday? Can't afford it. Yes you can!
With Harvey World Travel exclusive Travel Dreamer you can! It is all about forward planning. We organise it all for you.

Step1-

1. Tell us your intended destination
2. How much you can realistically afford to put away each week/fortnight.

Here are some examples for step 1:
 

  • You might want to visit relation's interstate. $10.00 per week over 1 year might be all that is needed. You won't miss $10.00 per week.
  • You might want to do your Xmas shopping in Bali; well $30.00 per week over a year would probably cover that and even give you some shopping money.
  • Or you might want to do the big trip - Europe, England, America - wherever. It might take two or three years of a small outlay per week or you could put yourself out a bit and do it sooner.


It's your choice- the sky's the limit and the sky's waiting for you!

Step 2-
Once you have decided on step 1, we will work out how long it will take, for your dream to be realised. Of course there is a catch! After speaking to us, you have to do only one thing.

  • Contact your bank and set up a direct debit authority to deposit into our Travel Trust Account a designated amount, weekly, fortnightly or monthly.  

Please Note:

  • Changing Destinations
    You can change destinations, provided your trip deposit hasn't been paid, Maybe you'll get impatient, and take a shorter trip first, or maybe a super super deal will become available. The choice is always yours.
  • Cancelling Your Trip
    Should for any reason, you decide to abort your travel dream, just give us 7 days notice in writing, and we will return all the money you saved less $55.00 for account keeping fees.
  • Your Account balance
    Contact us anytime and we will be happy to look up your balance, you will be surprised how quickly your savings will mount up.
  • Travel Trust Account. Your Money is Secure
    Harvey World Travel Greenhills is a fully licensed travel agency that complies to the Travel Compensation Fund requirements under the 1985 Travel Act. This means we maintain a Trust Account for all moneys received and come under audit scrutiny for cash on hand trading requirements
